There are two steps to the Research Request process: submitting payment and submitting information about known individuals. Once the information and the payment have been received by RoyaltyLinks, your research will begin.
Payment
Go to the Research Packages page via the link at the top of this page. Click the PayPal link next to your chosen package to submit payment by credit card or PayPal. If you want to pay with a personal check or money order, see the Contact link at the top of this page.
Information
Go to the Research Requests page via the link at the top of this page. Fill out the form as completely as possible.
To prepare for submitting your Research Request, you will need to know as much as possible of the following information:
Birth name, birth date and place, and death date/place (if known or applicable) for:
- The primary individual
- Their parents
- Their grandparents
- Their great-grandparents
- Any siblings of the above
If you know more than this (e.g., marriage dates, sibling names, further generations of ancestors), the additional information would also be welcome. You may use the Comments boxes on the form or you may email request@royaltylinks.info with the additional data.
Information about living people is protected in a variety of ways, so for your research to take place, it is necessary to trace back from the primary individual to as many people as possible who are no longer living. The more names and information you can provide along these lines, the better assurance of success.
RoyaltyLinks does not guarantee that your family line will be traceable to any degree, nor that your family will be linked to royalty. If this is the case, your package may be reduced accordingly and the monetary difference refunded.
