Research Packages

All this genealogy research focuses on one individual as the key subject. Research depth will be attempted to the level specified on as many branches as possible, but there are no guarantees of success. Actual reports will be limited to available online information. I will attempt to link you to royalty, but that connection cannot be guaranteed. If there is insufficient information to adequately provide you with your chosen package, your package level may be reduced accordingly. It is my desire that this online research be a stepping stone for your own personal research, which could easily lead you to visiting locations and checking civic or church records.

Requesting research takes two steps.

  1. Request and pay for your package through this page.
  2. Fill out the Research Request Form through the link at the top of these screens.

Fees paid to RoyaltyLinks are for the many hours spent researching and for materials as described below, but not for the actual information. Much genealogical information is free and is made available under the condition that it not be sold for commercial purposes. RoyaltyLinks does not charge for the information but only for services and materials rendered.

NOTE: According to Ancestry.com, standard professional genealogical and family history research pricing starts at US $2300 for 20 hours of research (that’s $115/hour). And it can increase if the research involves immigration research or pre-1850 research.

Package #1 (The Jester): $100

    research depth: at least five generations



  • a framed family tree chart with four generations
  • a CD with the included reports and charts, and the entire GEDCOM file as researched
  • a folder with a printed ancestry report and pedigree chart

makes a nice inexpensive gift for someone interested in doing their own research

Package #2 (The Knight): $200

    research depth: at least ten generations



  • a framed family tree chart with four generations
  • a CD with the included reports and charts, and the entire GEDCOM file as researched
  • a notebook with printed reports, including an ancestry report, descendancy reports for the major legs of the family tree, and a book-style report listing vital statistics and notes for 10 generations

excellent for providing a jump-start for those who want to continue the research themselves

Package #3 (The Queen): $350

    research depth: as far as available information allows, including royalty links



  • a framed family tree chart with four generations
  • a CD with the included reports and charts, and the entire GEDCOM file as researched
  • a preliminary ancestry report will be provided for you to choose up to three legs for the research to focus on
  • a notebook with printed reports, including an ancestry report, descendancy reports for the major legs of the family tree and select notable ancestors, and a book-style report listing vital statistics and notes for 20 generations

research depth: as far as available information allows, including royalty links and as much breadth as possible, exhausting online resources
