Everyone knows the benefits of stretching out both before and after your workouts. This 76" long (6'4") strap with 10 loops built in for hand or foot placement, is great for all sizes, even the taller athlete. OPTP Stretch Out Strap is latex free. Includes handy informative booklet containing different exercises, including before and after workout stretches in an easy to reference format.
Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) is a more advanced form of flexibility training that involves both the stretching and contraction of the muscle group being targeted. PNF stretching was originally developed as a form of rehabilitation, and to that effect it is very effective. It is also excellent for targeting specific muscle groups, and as well as increasing flexibility, (and range of movement) it also improves muscular strength.
The patented STRETCH OUT® Strap delivers the benefits of assisted stretching without a partner. Multiple loops permit deep, gradual stretching of major muscle groups with greater safety, control and effectiveness than is possible unaided. Strap comes with the STRETCH OUT Strap Poster, which features over 20 stretches emphasizing contract-relax techniques.
    Customer Reviews:
"The green strap" is a standard piece of Physical Therapy equipment used to provide leverage and resistance in muscle stretches. I bought this rugged strap primarily to stretch my hamstrings, rendered extremely tight by congenital Cerebral Palsy.
This particular green strap is made up of a series of loops, into which a user can place either the feet or the hands. The numerous loops allow for a pattern of long-term progressive stretching. I have used other green straps before, most of which have been coarse, causing pain or friction burns to the hands or feet. That is NOT the case here. Many green straps have buckles which can dig into the extremities. Again, NOT the case here. I've always disliked stretching which is a painful experience. Using this particular strap it has become a positive challenge. This strap also comes with a 40 page illustrated guide showing various and sundry stretches.
When I started using this strap I could walk only with assistance. Over the years I had lost range of motion and functionality. After only two stretching sessions I am already noticing a marked improvement in my ability to walk independently. And I'm not suffering with chafe burns or muscle discomfort. I can't wait to see how I'm doing in a week! I'm sure this strap is going to be a constant companion on the journey.
    VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. "
"I am a yoga instructor and was first introduced to this strap at an instructor training. I bought one and let some of my students try it out. They liked it so much that I bought several more and now use them regularly in my classes. It is also great for seniors or those who have challenges gripping a regular strap -- you can just place your hand(s) in the loop(s) and keep the hand(s) straight as you pull into the stretch. The loops provide a variety of options depending on how deeply you want to move into a stretch. In addition, it is useful for standing balance poses like dancer pose, as you can lift your leg up behind you while keeping the upper body even by placing two hands in prayer position in a loop up over your head. This gives you a nice stretch through the arms and shoulders as well.
The addition of loops to the regular strap was a brilliant idea. It allows you to focus on the stretch instead of on gripping and winding up the strap. I highly recommend the Stretch-Out Strap, and will be buying more in the future as I increase my inventory of fitness products"
"This is a great tool for stretching....beats the hell out of using belts, towels, and straps. The hand and foot loops allow you a lot of control and facilitate easing into a stretch. Definitely worth the $ to regain all that flexibility, pain-free "
